Nolan Mitschke and his group presented to the public (and held a Q&A) on his Master's Group Thesis Project. This presentation focuses on the public "Residential Electrification Roadmap" and "Cost and GHG Modeling Tool" Nolan's group created, why these products were created, and how the implementation of the roadmap and tool help to address socio-environmental issues regarding home energy use and how to effectively decarbonize all home appliances in Santa Barbara to help the City achieve carbon-neutrality in all sectors by 2035.

This presentation was given after working full time at the City of Santa Barbara in the Summer of 2025. The presentation primarily goes over my work developing a Microsoft Excel Budget and Performance Tracking Tool for the City of Santa Barbara's Sustainability and Resilience Department to track all Incentive Programs budgets (since inception) and metrics toward KPIs (Community Reinvestment, Equity, and GHG Reductions). The tool also gives portfolio wide and granular level metrics with data visualizations.

This tool was developed during Nolan's time interning (Climate and Energy Intern IV) at the City of Santa Barbara.
